10BE5 Raises Angel Round and Appoints New Advisors

London, 5 February 2021 – 10BE5, a legal tech company focused on capital markets products, today announced the completion of an angel round. Investors included senior lawyers from global firms, and leading business and finance professionals. An existing institutional shareholder also provided follow-on investment.

10BE5 launched its first product N2N in early September 2020. In under six months, 10BE5 has acquired multiple global law firm customers with top-tier capital markets practices.

10BE5 will use the investment to fuel its growth by expanding its team, rolling out new products, and acquiring customers in adjacent sectors. 10BE5 will look to maintain its highly capital-efficient approach to maximise output and impact with the resources at its disposal.

At the same time, 10BE5 welcomes three new advisors to its advisory board:

  • Sandra L. Flow. Sandra is co-chair of the Honoree Committee of DirectWomen and an advisory board member of women.nyc. She was previously a Cleary Gottlieb partner based in their New York office where she focused on corporate governance and capital markets. She is a former Chair of the Committee on Securities Regulation of the New York City Bar Association and has chaired numerous conferences and spoken and written extensively on topics relating to company disclosure, securities regulation and corporate governance.
  • Anna Serebryanikova. Anna is President of the Big Data Association and an investor in HR Tech and LegalTech companies. She was previously Executive Board member and Chief Operating Officer (previously Head of Legal) of PJSC Megafon, a leader in the Russian and global telecommunications market. She is also Co-chair of the Committee on the Digital Economy of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and a member of the Expert Council in the Russian State Duma Committee on Information Policy and IT.
  • Kerem Turunç. Kerem is a partner of the Turkish law firm TURUNÇ and an angel investor. He previously practised law in New York and London with Cleary Gottlieb. He has lectured at various schools, including Harvard Law School and New York University.
